Call for papers on the topic of "Corruption in Turkey" to appear in the sixth issue of the Turkish Journal of Business Ethics.
Turkish Journal of Business Ethics is a peer-reviewed, semi-annual (May and November) publication of the Economic Enterprise and Business Ethics Association (IGIAD). With an engaged board of leading international scholars, the journal has expanded the horizons for studies on business ethics in Turkey.
Turkish Journal of Business Ethics is devoting its sixth issue to the special topic of "Corruption in Turkey."
While empirical papers are strongly encouraged, theoretical and conceptual contributions that address mechanisms giving rise to corruption in Turkey are particularly welcome. Reviews and critiques are also invited.
The submitted articles may present,
- a critical approach to the dominant neo-liberal discourse that attributes corruption
solely to public authority;
- a reading of corruption not only within the framework of economics but also within that
of other social sciences, such as political science, sociology, social psychology, and
anthropology;
- an analysis of the relationship between corruption and business ethics.
High-caliber, scholarly inter-disciplinary submissions will be subjected to peer review prior to publication.
The papers for this edition are due by the 30th of September, 2010.
